Are you a strategic, hands-on accounting leader looking for your next big opportunity? Our client, a well-established and steadily growing construction company in Salem, Oregon, is looking for an Accounting Manager / Controller to lead their accounting team and help drive their continued success.

What You’ll Do :

  • Lead and develop a strong team of six accounting professionals
  • Oversee and manage financial operations across six business entities
  • Implement and improve financial processes, reporting, and internal controls
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Provide coaching, goal-setting, and performance evaluations for team members
  • Collaborate with leadership on strategic financial planning

What We’re Looking For :

  • 10+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • 2–3+ years in a management or leadership role
  • Experience overseeing finances for multiple entities
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • A hands-on leader who thrives on team development and process improvements
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred—but strong experience can speak louder than a diploma!
