About the Client :

Metric Search is now working with a leading finishing and dispensing distributor on an exciting new assignment. Our client has a national presence and is experiencing continuous growth. They’re product portfolio focuses on oil & gas, general industry / manufacturing, food & beverage, water / wastewater, power and other markets.

Sales Account Manager :

The Sales Account Manager is in charge of growing the territory’s revenue in all industries that are covered. You will be responsible for selling global-leading finishing and dispensing products, including spray guns, booths, ovens, filters and engineered systems, to industrial, automotive and manufacturing customers. The company also provide complete turnkey solutions to customers, so you would be responsible for selling these packaged offerings also. You would be directly responsible for hitting targets, obtaining new customers and growing accounts. You will take over existing accounts but also be expected to find new customers to do business with.

Key responsibilities :

  • Actively seek new leads and business
  • Meet with existing and prospective customers to sell leading finishing and coating equipment brands and service contracts
  • Identify and initiate action plans to penetrate new markets
  • Grow existing accounts in the region
  • Participate in the daily sales activities

Qualifications :

  • 3 years’ experience in paint, coatings or industrial equipment sales (Required)
  • Experience in paint / coating finishing and dispensing products (highly preferred)
  • Experience growing revenue and profits in industrial, manufacturing and / or automotive markets (Required)
  • Skills / Personal Qualifications :

  • Willingness to travel within the territory
  • Proven ability to sell and educate on technical products
  • Self-starting attitude towards sales
  • An excellent communicator with management experience
  • A critical thinker who requires little guidance to solve problems
  • High energy, self-driven person with an entrepreneurial outlook to business
