Overview :

The YMCA of Greater Kansas City is seeking a motivated, organized, dependable and detail oriented individual with excellent communication skills to fill the position of People Services Coordinator. This position will provide support to our senior leaders. This position efficiently and effectively handles multiple projects with a focus on our recruiting efforts and general administrative assistance. Hourly Hiring Range : $17 - $18

Responsibilities :

  • Manage reference process for candidates.
  • Coordinate recruitment activities, including posting job openings and monitoring candidate flow.
  • Provides support for hiring events.
  • Handle special administrative projects as assigned by Chief Operating Officer.
  • Generate reports and maintain databases to track key metrics and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Assist in maintaining department files.
  • Assist other team members with duties, as needed and during any absences.
  • Support projects and initiatives, as assigned.
  • Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Administrative experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to adapt to new software.
  • Able to work with diverse groups of people in a friendly and consistent manner.
  • Able to make independent and sound decisions in a fast paced environment.
  • Able to exercise high levels of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Detail oriented with good organizational skills, and be multi-task proficient.
