Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patients to establish effective care plans.
  • Implement therapy programs using standard speech therapy techniques tailored to the patient’s age and disability.
  • Accurately document the delivery of Speech Therapy services.
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, caregivers, and significant others.

Qualifications :

Education : Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology.

Experience : Experience in a hospital setting is preferred, especially with dysphagia. Experience with outpatient care, Vital Stim certification, and Medicare documentation is an advantage.

Licensure / Certification : Must possess a current Oklahoma license for Speech-Language Pathology or be eligible for a temporary license. Holding an ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence or completing it within the first year under a licensed therapist is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) training is essential and must be maintained throughout employment.
