We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Remote HR Generalist to support our HR functions, with a strong focus on benefits administration, hiring, recruiting, and payroll processing via ADP . The ideal candidate will have expertise in Iowa employment laws and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations while fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Recruitment & Hiring : Manage the full cycle hiring process, including job postings, applicant screening, interviews, and onboarding.
- Benefits Administration : Oversee employee benefits programs, assist with open enrollment, and serve as a point of contact for benefits-related inquiries.
- Payroll Processing : Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing through ADP , including deductions, taxes, and compliance with wage and hour laws.
- HR Compliance & Employee Relations : Stay updated on Iowa employment laws , handle employee inquiries, and provide HR policy guidance.
Qualifications :
3+ years of HR generalist experience with a focus on benefits, recruitment, and payroll.Proficiency with ADP payroll processing is required.Strong knowledge of Iowa employment laws and HR best practices.Experience supporting small to mid-sized businesses (25+ employees preferred).Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently in a remote environment.10 hours per week needed at this time, may increase over time.
