Duties

  • Provide Nurturing Care and Safety : Create a nurturing and safe environment for children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Utilize Provided Curriculum : Utilize the curriculum and classroom resources already in place to enhance learning experiences for toddlers.
  • Lead Engaging Activities : Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and experiences that promote learning and exploration.
  • Collaborate with Supportive Staff : Work alongside friendly and supportive staff members who are committed to creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
  • Communication : Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress.
  • Requirements

  • Successful completion of a background check is a prerequisite of employment.
  • Minimum 1 year experience working with children in a daycare or childcare setting
  • Knowledge of Infant care and childhood development
  • Understanding of early childhood education principles and practices
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students
  • Familiarity with education strategies and accommodations
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children
  • Ability to create a structured and engaging classroom environment
