OVERVIEW :
We are seeking a Records Manager to perform Records Information Management (RIM) tasks within the Program Executive Office, Aviation (PEO AVN), Office of Chief Information Officer (OCIO). The role includes creating, maintaining, and properly disposing of records in compliance with applicable laws and regulatory guidance. The Records Manager will be responsible for developing plans, policies, and procedures, integrating records management with Army 365 SharePoint, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure program effectiveness and regulatory compliance.
JOB DUTIES / FUNCTIONS :
- Records Management Program Development : Build and sustain a comprehensive Records Management Program for OCIO.
- Training and Support : Obtain Records Management for Officials Training and ARIMS Training, and train Record Coordinators to support the program.
- Records Integration : Apply and integrate Records Management practices with Army 365 SharePoint.
- System and Repository Management : Manage official systems of record repositories (e.g., GFEBS, ETMS2, ATAAPS) used for storing records.
- Compliance and Audits : Ensure successful records audits using DA Form 7913 and maintain compliance with policies and procedures.
- Policy Development : Assist the Records Administrator (RA) with policy development, governance, and records disposition in alignment with Government-wide policies.
- Quality Control : Conduct compliance audits, risk assessments, and quality control reviews to measure program effectiveness and drive improvements.
- Electronic Records Management : Collaborate with RA, CIO, and IT teams to address electronic recordkeeping requirements and challenges.
- Continuity of Operations : Manage essential records by identifying, protecting, and ensuring their access in support of Continuity of Operations.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience :BA / BS degree with 5+ years of experience, or AA degree with 7+ years of experience in records management, information governance, or a related field.
Clearance : Active Secret Clearance required.Citizenship : Must be a U.S. Citizen.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Advanced Experience : 10+ years of experience in records management, with a focus on large-scale organizations or government agencies.Education : Master's degree in a related field (e.g., Information Management, Library Science, Business Administration).Leadership Experience : Proven ability to lead records management programs, develop policies, and drive compliance across complex organizations.Information Technology Integration : Experience automating processes, implementing technology-driven solutions, and optimizing electronic records management systems.BENEFITS
