Role : Order Management Revenue Analyst

Addison group is seeking an order management analyst who will be part of a team of order management professionals, ensuring the client's software deals are properly set-up with all necessary information needed for billing and revenue recognition purposes. They will own a portfolio of customer deals for which they will be responsible to ensure all necessary information for billing and revenue recognition is secured and submitted to the billing team through the Company’s systems.
The ideal candidate will be someone that has experience in order management activities in a software company, has been part of a growing company and has a thorough understanding of the operational aspects of order management that result in successful billing and revenue recognition.
This position will interact with senior finance and operational personnel from the company and will report to the Order Management Lead.
What you get to do in this role :
- This position will be part of setting up the order management team for Intapp.
- You will assist in the development and formulation of documented processes for the order management team to execute upon. These processes will need to be kept current as they change to meet business needs.
- Work cross functionally with operational teams (Sales Operations and Revenue) to ensure sales order information is accurate and complete prior to processing in our ERP by providing required guidance to those teams.
- You will work with Company business process and IT specialists to improve processes and systems pertaining to order management by tracking and reporting issues.
- Support the accounting team during month end close and financial reporting processes, as needed.
- You will be responsible for executing SOX controls in the in the order management process.
In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has :
3+ years of order management experience in a software company that has gone through rapid growth.In depth understanding of CRM systems, NetSuite processes around client record management, SKU management, billing, credit memos and reporting.A fair understating of ASC 606 as it relates to software companies with both cloud and on-premises products, as well as services.Must have an operational mindset to drive continuous improvement in processes.Experience working with cross functional teams to drive process improvements and efficiencies.Excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience in communicating and reporting to senior level operational and finance staff.Ability and desire to get into systems and create reporting capabilities and metrics as needed.Excellent skills with spreadsheets.Deliver high quality work product.Experience working in a public company environment with requirements to comply with SOX.Education
