ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Provides technical solutions, working closely with the other Application Support Analysts, Business Analysts, Infrastructure, and other staff.Reviews and analyzes system problems including technical specifications, system documentation and production output to identify solutions and / or make appropriate referrals.Acts as a vendor application technical subject matter expert to conduct analysis, document requirements, design solutions, and configure systems of moderate to high complexity.Perform software improvements, upgrades, and repairs independently and working with vendors.Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot software products - problem diagnosis may involve both hardware (PC, Server, Network) and software analysis.Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex software problems for a variety of end users, and document detailed insights to problems.Develop and maintain an inventory and documentation of all supported application software.Works independently with minimal supervision.Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor's degree in the field of computer science or related field with a minimum of 2 - 4years of related experience or a minimum of 5 years equivalent work experience without a degree.Application support experience with Service Level Management and a strong customer-service acumen required.Excellent technical knowledge of network, active directory, and server technology.Excellent planning and organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities and assignments.Experience working with Enterprise Resource Programs (ERP) such as Glovia, SAP, MS Dynamics, JDE, or Visual Manufacturing preferred.Good knowledge and some experience with SQL Queries.Good knowledge of installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows Operating Systems.Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, OEM guides, and conduct research into software issues and products.Experience with SOX regulations, related to IT systems, and strict Change Management procedures, are a plus.MS Access Experience is a plus.ITIL Certification preferred, Microsoft Certifications and training are a plus.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS : Perform off-business hours and on-call availability with a rotating schedule.Lifting and transporting of heavy to moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals.Some travel required to support other domestic sites.
