Production Manager - Food Manufacturing

Location : Western Kentucky - Relocation Assistance Avaliable

Salary : $65,000 - $75,000

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead and oversee manufacturing operations in a fast-paced food production environment . This hands-on leadership role is responsible for ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety while motivating a team to meet production goals.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and supervise production employees , ensuring daily goals are met.
  • Monitor throughput, yield, and production metrics to optimize performance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, OSHA, HACCP, GMP, and food quality standards .
  • Work cross-functionally with HR, Maintenance, Quality Assurance, and Shipping to ensure smooth operations.
  • Schedule shifts, track attendance, and manage time-off requests.
  • Maintain inventory records and oversee production area cleanliness.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency.

Qualifications :

5+ years of experience in food manufacturing.

5+ years of leadership experience in a production setting.

Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and food safety protocols .

Experience with Tray Sealer, Thermoforming, and Flow Wrapping is a plus.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills .
