Youth Basketball Coach

Job Summary :

Dallas Wings Youth Coaches will serve an integral role in amplifying youth sports efforts, experience, and development. The Dallas Wings are seeking a passionate and experienced Youth Basketball Coaches to inspire and develop the next generation of athletes. As a Youth Basketball Coach, you will lead and mentor players, teaching the fundamentals of basketball while promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and a love for the game. This is a part-time contracted job that will report to the Sr. Youth Program Manager.

Essential Elements and Responsibilities :

• Execute engaging basketball training sessions tailored to youth athletes.
• Teach fundamental skills, game strategies, and basketball IQ in a positive and encouraging environment.
• Serve as a role model by promoting sportsmanship, discipline, and teamwork.
• Participate in a minimum of 4 youth basketball events, including clinics, camps, or community programs.
• Communicate effectively with players, parents, and Dallas Wings staff.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during practices and events.
