Description
The Billing Administrator is responsible for clerical duties pertaining to car shopping information, training in car billing and to assist in communicating operational information from the field to corporate, regional management and customers and vendors as needed. This role will require the ability to multi-task and provide back-up assistance when needed to other Billing Administrators. The ideal candidate will have excellent administrative, customer service, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills and will demonstrate the ability to multi-task. This role may be hybrid or remote for well-qualified candidates living within the Cathcart Rail geographic footprint.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Data entry and review for railcar invoicing.
- Provide administrative support and back-up assistance to Billing Manager.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Effectively navigate the Rail Car Billing system
- Understanding of railcar terminology and AAR Field Manual Rules, Job Codes etc.
- Create CSR instances for sponsoring railroad billing, derailments, and other contract billing.
- Identify and correct billing errors within the CRBDX file and assist with auditing report.
- Assist with uploading into exceptions management system.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results and all duties as assigned.
- Other duties as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum two (2) years of administrative, billing or AR experience in a heavy industrial environmentHigh school degree or equivalentProficient in data entryProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint)Good communication and organizational skillsAbility to multitask and meet deadlines on a consistent basisMaintain high level of confidentiality and professionalismProficient in both verbal and written communication skills
