We're seeking a dedicated and skilled X-Ray Technician to join our dynamic orthopedic team. As an integral part of our practice, you will play a crucial role in providing top-notch diagnostic imaging services.
Per Diem Flexibility :
This is a per diem position, offering you the flexibility to choose your shifts and work-life balance. We're looking for individuals who can commit to multiple shifts per week or month, with the ability to work on short notice.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare patients for orthopedic X-ray examinations of the musculoskeletal system, including explaining the procedure and addressing any concerns.
- Position and immobilize patients using proper techniques to ensure accurate X-ray images.
- Operate X-ray equipment safely and efficiently to capture high-quality digital images of bones, joints, and soft tissues.
- Perform routine maintenance on X-ray equipment and adhere to established quality control procedures.
- Maintain inventory of X-ray supplies and ensure proper restocking.
- Document patient procedures and X-ray results accurately and efficiently.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GEDCompletion of an accredited Radiologic Technology programCertified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography (preferred) or a related area with eligibility to obtain an ARRT certification in RadiographyOne year of experience as an X-Ray Technician (preferred)Excellent attention to detail and accuracyStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamCompassionate and patient-centered approach
