San Jose Country Club is currently searching for an experienced Spinning Instructor.

San Jose Country Club is a private gathering place for our families and guests who cherish and share high quality lifestyle standards. We are a Country Club inspired by our rich tradition and are committed to delivering impeccable personalized service and offering excellent facilities and innovative programs which support our members' interest in golf, tennis, fitness, dining, social and other family activities.

We have an immediate opening for our Tuesday morning @ 5 : 45am Spinning class which lasts 45-minutes.

We are also looking to find a sub to cover our other spinning classes on an "as needed" basis.

As a Spinning Instructor, your role is to create and lead safe, effective and engaging spinning classes for individuals of varying fitness levels. You will be responsible for planning and implementing your class, motivating and coaching participants, as well as ensuring the safety and well-being of all attendees. If you have a passion for fitness and enjoy working in a group environment, this may be the perfect position for you.

Key Job Responsibilities :

  • Experience instructing Spinning classes.
  • Maintain current CPR and AED certifications.
  • Educate members concerning proper bike set-up and constantly monitor safety to avoid any injuries.
  • Bring high-energy spinning music to accompany the class.
  • Create innovative ways to keep members involved and engaged in the class.
  • Keep members upbeat and enthusiastic during class.
  • Promote classes and assist in promotions and events.

Qualifications :

  • Experience teaching a spinning class is mandatory.
  • CPR and AED certifications that are up to date.
  • Instructors MUST carry their own Fitness Liability Insurance.
  • Instructor must be able to commit to their assigned class and show up to teach this class on a consistent basis.
  • Must demonstrate physical endurance for up to 45 minutes at a time of continuous cardiovascular movement.
  • Ability to give and follow detailed instructions and communicate effectively in English.

    • Our group exercise instructors are contract employees, who will need to complete an IRS W-9 form. We also require everyone to carry their own fitness liability insurance and sign an independent contractor agreement.
