School Bus Driver - large bus

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious large School Bus Driver to join our transportation team for the upcoming school year. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and ensuring the well-being of passengers. Responsibilities :

• Safely operate a bus following a set schedule and route
• Provide excellent customer service to passengers
• Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers during transit
• Communicate effectively with passengers and respond to inquiries
• Maintain a clean and organized bus interior
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations at all times

Work is performed at a local Rochester, NY school district terminal.

Requirements :

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) class B or higher with air brake, passenger and school endorsements.

Clean motor vehicle record.

Previous experience in large school bus driving.

Ability to drive various types of buses, but large school bus driving is necessary.

Strong communication skills to interact with passengers of diverse backgrounds

Experience working with children is a plus

Multilingual abilities are advantageous for better customer service

Ability to pass background checks, DOT physical and drug screen and all NYSED compliance.

Sign on bonus of $1,000 to be paid out in increments and then fully at end of school year June 2025.
