Internship Summary :

STIHL Inc. has a full time opening for a Sales Planning Intern in our Sales Planning Department.

Standard Operating Procedures

Review and update Standard Operating Procedures / Work Instructions for Sales planning department to include Branch Planning, Central Planning and Sales Order Specialists.
Build working understanding demand planning process and systems within STIHL domestic distribution strategy.

Master Data Review

Help to prepare for transition to SAP 4HANA through data analysis in SAP.

Identify risks within master data critical fields as defined by One STIHL.

Catalogue Master Data deviations and identify for correction.

Internship Goals :

Develop working knowledge of cross department functionality within STIHL Inc, Branch / Distributor network and STIHL Subsidiaries.

SOP Development

Build an understanding of Sales Planning role in supply chain

Develop proficiency in SAP / MRP

Create working understanding of master data within SAP

Internship Requirements :

Academic Year : Junior or Senior

Area of Study : Supply Chain or Engineering

Preferred GPA : 3.5

Software Knowledge : SAP, Excel

Internship Information :

Work Hours : 8 : 30am - 5pm

Department : Sales Planning

Compensation : $20 / hour
