Job Description

IHM School is seeking a collaborative educator to serve as a part-time PK-5 Music

Teacher. We seek a teacher who is committed to teaching elementary school

students who are inquisitive and creative while implementing music lessons that are

geared to each individual student's learning needs. The ideal candidate will have

strong classroom management skills, strong music education background, strong

technology skills, and a keen aptitude for integrating a faith-based music curriculum.

The ideal candidate should be able to play and teach students how to play various

musical instruments, lead and teach students to sing, and create a fun musical

learning atmosphere for students.

In addition, the Music Teacher will create and execute lesson plans, communicate

with families, and serve various duties as assigned by the Principal.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess :

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree
