The Role

Role Overview :

A .NET developer only Black / African with expertise in Progress Sitefinity or a similar. NET-based CMS (e.g., Kentico, Umbraco, Sitecore, DotNetNuke) that thrives on solving complex technical challenges. The ideal candidate has experience with customizing CMS widgets, operating in a multisite environment, and working on API-driven content integrations.

Responsibilities :

  • Support a large client website migration project, focusing on Sitefinity .NET Core components.
  • Build custom CMS widgets using .NET Core (ViewComponents, Entities, Views, PropertyConfigurators).
  • Implement Sitefinity IRestClient (or similar CMS API integrations) for queries, filters, pagination, and DTO mapping.
  • Work within a multisite environment with complex content-sharing workflows.
  • Utilize Typescript and SCSS to develop responsive, scalable front-end interfaces.
  • Apply modern CSS techniques (Grid, Flexbox, custom properties) to enhance layouts and styling.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues and bugs throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure timely updates and proactive communication

Ideal Profile

Requirements :

  • 3 to 7 years of experience in web development with a focus on Sitefinity or another. NET-based CMS (e.g., Kentico, Umbraco, Sitecore, DotNetNuke).
  • Proven expertise in Sitefinity .NET Core Renderer Projects and custom widget development (or transferable CMS experience).
  • Strong experience with API integrations (e.g., Sitefinity IRestClient, Kentico REST API, Umbraco Content Delivery API).
  • Proficiency in Typescript, SCSS, and modern CSS methodologies.
  • Understanding of multisite environments and content-sharing strategies.

  • Excellent communication skills, particularly in providing project updates and handling feedback professionally.
