Job description

Searching for an experienced Purchasing Manager !! Our client is an Industry Leading food manufacturer in Pennsylvania. They have been around for over 40 years. This a chance to join a growing company, that has two facilities and works domestically as well as internationally.

The ideal candidate will have :

  • 5 years of purchasing management experience
  • Background in food manufacturing
  • Business Administration / Finance or related field degree
  • Analytical skills
  • Computer skills
  • Communication skills

Responsibilities :

  • Support sourcing and purchasing requirements of high-quality ingredients and supplies for company
  • Strategic planning
  • Develop budget
  • Communicate with all vendors
  • Research and evaluate products to ensure quality, R&D, and international requirements
  • Develop knowledge of commodity and what influences supply and cost
  • All documentation for vendors, payments, deliveries, etc. up to date
  • Determine market trends and make suggestions
  • Search for reliable suppliers
  • Manage 3 others in purchasing department

    • Compensation and Benefits :

  • 120k-$150k
