POSITION PURPOSE :
The Room Attendant will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms as assigned, ensuring compliance with Five Star service standards. Reporting any and all maintenance deficiencies. Handle all guest issues and requests in a professional and timely manner.

50% Clean rooms / suites, as assigned, which includes : making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming and washing windows / tracks. Reports rooms as clean and available. Reports maintenance deficiencies in order to maintain rooms in compliance with hotel and Five Star standards.
10% Strip dirty linens / towels and remove used amenities from room / suite.
10% Replenish linen and guest amenities
10% Check room attendant cart for supplies and stock as needed.
5% Greet guests immediately with friendly / sincere acknowledgement.
5% Respond to special requests by guests (such as providing extra amenities or service time requests).
SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required when performing work duties that may have the potential of risk to your health or safety. The hotel will provide the required PPE. Associates will be trained in the proper use and care of any assigned PPE. It is your responsibility to report defective, damaged or lost PPE, or equipment that does not fit properly, to your Manager.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
EDUCATION
High School graduate or equivalent preferred but not necessary.
EXPERIENCE
6 months to 1 year cleaning experience in housekeeping or janitorial services preferred
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES
No special licenses or certificates required.
GROOMING
All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance. Specific uniform guidelines and / or required articles of clothing will be explained to you as a part of the orientation process.
OTHER
Additional language ability is strongly preferred.
