Principal SAP BTP Consultant

Job description Infosys is seeking Principal SAP BTP Consultant : As a Principal Consultant, you will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, identify areas of improvement, evaluates the solution options and makes recommendations. You will be responsible to manage the turnaround expectations from the team in terms of any SLA / KPIs and front ending the deliverables of the team with the client stakeholders. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.Basic Qualifications : Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology.U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. This position may require travel and / or relocationPreferred Qualifications : At least 11 years of SAP Web application development experience.Experience across Electricity (preferred), or Gas or Water Utilities industries, North America Experience of at least 1 end to end lifecycle implementation activities including : Requirement gatheringBusiness process design RICEFW Functional designSystems and Integration TestingResolving production issuesExperience in developing, deploying and configuring applications on Cloud Foundry using SAP CAPM.At least 5 years experience in UI5 / Fiori based application development preferably on cloudExperience creating and configuring launch pad sites using BTP portal service / Launchpad Service / WorkZone.Knowledge of BTP services like workflow management, Hana cloud, XSUAA, Document Service etc & configuring destinations to cloud and on-premise systems and using them in applications.Knowledge about platform operations like Identity Provider configuration, assertion-based mapping for authorization, role collection configuration etc.Experience consuming OAuth protected REST APIs in applications.Knowledge of Java or Node JS programming language is a must.Experience creating microservices using Spring Boot framework or NodeJS based frameworks.Experience using Git for SCM.Strong Client Facing experience, great communication and presentations skillsAbility to work with offshore teams and coordinating work delivery between onsite and offshore.Flexible work timings required due to remote working environment including offshore overlaps twice a day.
