The Program Security Representative responsibilities include :
- Assists with implementation of the Industrial Security program encompassing classified and / or proprietary materials, documents, employee clearances and classified equipment.
- Administers and audits security programs for compliance with government regulations associated with the protection of classified material and export controlled data.
- Assists with the development and and execution of security programs associated with the protection of proprietary information in compliance with corporate policies.
- Monitors and implements federal security regulations that apply to company compliance and contract execution as set forth in 32 CFR, 117, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).
- Works closely with U. S. Government customers to receive, submit, and process classified request.
- Supports the site lead for externally sponsored classified visits and international visits and conferences.
- Develops and conducts security education classes.
- Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.
