Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Conduct daily project site visits to ensure compliance with safety and fleet policies.
- Prepare and submit regular safety and fleet reports to leadership.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with company policies on fleet violations, safety incidents, and proper vehicle maintenance.
- Utilize Samsara and Fleetio applications to monitor fleet-related violations, gas usage, and vehicle maintenance schedules.
- Provide recommendations to management for safety and fleet improvements.
- Ensure OSHA, DOT, and FTA compliance in fleet and warehouse operations.
Must Have :
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.3+ years of experience in a safety position with a civil construction backgroundProficient computer / office / technological skills (Outlook, teams, Excel, Word, etc.)BILINGUAL in English and SpanishA minimum of OSHA 30-hour trainingNice to Have :

The Fleet & Safety Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing fleet and safety operations in the Orlando branch. This role ensures compliance with company and regulatory safety standards, fleet maintenance, and proper usage of company vehicles and heavy machinery. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), roadway construction, electrical work, bucket truck operations, Maintenance of Traffic (MOT), warehouse operations, or similar industry / project experience.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORTS
Work will be performed in both office and field environments, including construction sites, warehouses, and fleet maintenance areas.Exposure to outdoor weather conditions such as extreme heat, cold, and inclement weather.Frequent visits to active roadway construction sites, underpasses, and highway environments.Work around heavy machinery, electrical systems, and bucket trucks.Ability to operate and inspect vehicles, including commercial trucks and equipment.Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.Frequent walking, standing, climbing, bending, and reaching in field environments.Ability to wear necessary PPE, including hard hats, high-visibility vests, gloves, and safety glasses.May require working at heights, around bucket trucks, heavy machinery, and other elevated platforms.Ability to work extended hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS
