About the role
Mobili Mobel is looking for a Director Interior Design and Sales with experience in private luxury residential projects to join our team. You will lead a design and sales team and engage in the following duties :
- Design - You will be involved in all aspects of the design process.
- Client focused - You and your team will deliver a luxury experience to our clients.
- Team focused - Lead the MM sales and design team and collaborate with clients, as well as other designers, architects, contractors, fabricators, artisans, and developers.
- Business focused - You will design strategies and actions to increase our presence in various markets, improving customer satisfaction, and increasing sales.

LUXURY - You understand the craftsmanship that goes into luxury goods and why it matters. You know how to educate and communicate.TEAM - Willing to adapt to the daily needs of the team as you know when to lead and when to be part of the team.EXPERIENCE - 8-10 years of experience in a lead interiors role for a high-end firm overseeing a team and independently running projectsRELATIONSHIPS - You have long term friendships. You know how to engage with others.CREATIVE - You live design. You’re find inspiration everywhere. You have a passion for beautiful, functional design, an eye for detail and can “see” how to improve a space and share your vision in a sketch for a client.KNOWLEDGE - You have a proven history of being detailed and organized. You’re able to prioritize and balance multiple projects and tasks at the same time with minimal supervision.FLEXIBLE - You live in Chicago and are able to travel locally and Internationally. You’re direct, confident and concise.
