Elementary School Teacher

Description

Beatitudes of Our Lord School seeks a qualified elementary school teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidate must have knowledge of creating lessons that align with state and Archdiocesan standards and who can integrate technology into the classroom. This teacher must work collaboratively and communicate effectively with parents, teachers, staff, and administration for the academic betterment of the students. It is imperative that this candidate have a positive mindset, be a good Catholic role model, and be highly energetic.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree (BA / BS) from an accredited university / college
• A California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and / or Master’s Degree OR working towards it
• Knowledge of STAR testing and using STAR data to improve student learning
• Create developmentally appropriate lessons; plan and implement curriculum and differentiated instruction for students
• A practicing Catholic is preferred
• Create a supportive and caring classroom environment in which students can learn and interact positively with one another through student-centered instruction and collaboration
• Demonstrates flexibility and effective classroom management

Wage Range

The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
