NCW is seeking experienced Michigan Licensed JM Solar Electricians to join our team. Tasks may include : Connect solar panels and inverters and other high-voltage equipment to a building’s power supply; repair or replace PV-related wiring, equipment, and fixtures; assemble, install, test, and maintain PV-related electrical / electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures; test PV electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring to ensure compatibility and safety; and plan layout and installation of PV-related electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.

Year round opportunities within multiple solar projects in the Ann Arbor, Kalamazoo, Holland and Lansing areas.

Days worked per diem is available if residence is further than a 60 mile radius.

Duties :

  • Assist in the construction, maintenance and repair of solar electrical systems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to understand electrical layouts and specifications.
  • Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various electrical tasks.
  • Conduct tests using voltmeters and other testing equipment to ensure proper functionality of electrical systems.
  • Follow safety protocols and adhere to all regulations on construction sites to maintain a safe working environment.

Experience :

  • Expert Craftsman :  Hold a valid Journeyman Electrician License, earned through years of dedication to your craft with 3-5 years of solar electrical experience.
  • Natural Leader :  Your ability to inspire and guide others sets you apart.
