A company is looking for a Clinical Coding Appeals Supervisor.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily operations of the coding team, ensuring productivity and quality metrics are metTrack and report on overturned appeals and audit a sample of appeals weeklyMaintain payor policies and act as a point of contact for non-coding staff regarding appeals processingRequired QualificationsActive Registered Nurse licenseActive AHIMA or AAPC Coding Certification (CCS, RHIA, RHIT, CCA, CPC-A, CPC-H, CPMA, or CIC)Prior leadership experience in medical record reviewsExtensive knowledge of medical coding for inpatient and outpatient claimsFamiliarity with reimbursement guidelines
