Job description

Overview :

Archer Western Construction, a member of The Walsh Group is currently seeking a Traffic Flagger for the Pasadena 36" Force Main Phase III GMP , in St. Petersburg, FL .

The Traffic Flagger will perform traffic control tasks on construction jobsites for the protection and safety of the public and employees.

Responsibilities :

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

  • Assists with proper erection, placement, and removal of traffic control materials
  • Assists with the control of flow of traffic around the construction site
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by supervisor

    • Qualifications :

  • 1 Year Verifiable Experience Preferred
  • Flagger Certification Preferred
  • Clean, valid driver's license required for this position
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions
  • Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly
  • Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn
  • Requires good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
