Job Details :

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Permanent Project Manager for our Data Center in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the construction process, from planning and design to implementation and completion. This role is critical to ensuring the successful delivery of our data center projects on time and within budget. The Project Manager will work closely with our clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure the highest quality of work and customer satisfaction. This position requires a deep understanding of data center construction, mission-critical facilities, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems.

Responsibilities :

1. Oversee all stages of project life cycle including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure of data center construction projects.

2. Coordinate and manage all project activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.

3. Ensure compliance with all regulations, codes, and standards related to data center construction and operation.

4. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists to design and implement effective data center solutions.

5. Manage relationships with contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project success.

6. Implement risk management processes and identify potential risks and issues, developing contingency plans when necessary.

7. Deliver regular status reports to senior management and stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, risks, and issues.

8. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities for process and efficiency enhancements.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.

2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a project management role within the construction industry, specifically with data center construction projects.

3. Proven experience managing mission-critical facilities and understanding of MEP systems.

4. Strong knowledge of data center operations and construction best practices.

5. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to manage multiple teams and projects simultaneously.

6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

7. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate potential issues.

8. Proficient in project management software and tools.

9. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is preferred.
