Job description

LHH is currently seeking a Trusts & Estates Legal Assistant for a temporary-to-hire position in Charlotte, NC. This role involves supporting attorneys in managing estate planning and administration tasks, including drafting documents, conducting research, and client communication.

Key Responsibilities :

Drafting and reviewing estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.

Assisting with probate and trust administration processes.

Conducting legal research on estate planning and tax laws.

Communicating with clients to gather information and provide updates.

Managing case files and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications :

Previous experience as a legal assistant, preferably in Trusts & Estates.

Strong knowledge of estate planning and probate procedures.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay : $26-28 / hr.
