Job description

Piper Companies is seeking a Software Developer (Configuration) for an award winning company in the Durham, North Carolina area. The Software Developer (Configuration) role is hybrid and requires to be in the office 3 days a week. An ideal candidate for the Software Developer (Configuration) will be open to a split role within development and support.

Responsibilities for the Software Developer (Configuration) include :

  • Support various software applications that are business critical
  • Perform root cause analysis
  • Organize, prioritize, and track requests effectively
  • Work closely with application developers and product owners to implement new features and bug fixes

Requirements for the Software Developer (Configuration) include :

  • Ability to work hybrid – 3 days onsite in Durham, NC
  • 3+ years of professional software development experience
  • Understanding of web services
  • Background in SQL and Javascript
  • Strong root cause analysis background
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

    • Compensation for the Software Developer (Configuration) includes :

  • 105,000 - $125,000 annually with a full comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, and Sick Leave as required by law.
