- Must be in office four days a week
- Week of September th – September th are blacked out for PTO
- Must be available in July and August for training. No multiple weeks off for vacation (single days – yes)
- Must be able to accommodate to Holiday schedules Week of Thanksgiving M-W NO PTO ( we are off Thursday and Friday). Christmas to New years weeks are coordinated with the team for coverage, can’t take off the last two weeks of the year. We work together as a team for coverage, so some PTO but no one takes both weeks off.
- Excel is critical to the role – Pivots, simple formula and be able to understand data – use filters
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Supply Chain Planner is a critical part of our Fulfillment team within our Supply Chain organization. This individual will interact regularly with customers and manage orders, shipments and customer inquiries. The Supply Chain Planner will work closely with multiple teams and collaborate effectively in a team oriented environment.
Optimize customer experience, responsible for timely resolution / proactive results for Metro by Client dealer Channel. Review and authorize applicable creditsReply / Resolve Metro Dealer questions and Internal Client business partner emails (not consumer)Receive, enter and validate customer orders, reserve inventory and determine delivery datesGenerate, analyze and monitor open order reports to validate system integrity, SLA, EDI and IDOCsEstablishes and maintains business relationships with Channel Managers, Logistics and Allocation Planning to assure on-time delivery, communication on backorder and resolution of picking, shipping and capacity issuesAggregate, review and collaborate with allocation Planning to clear backorders, execute planning cycle to build loads, release orders to DC and drive the daily open order review process with key channel managersResolve return exceptions, coordinate adjustment to deductions with Finance, Channel Manager and Customer and authorize replacement or creditRoot-cause process failures and implement process improvementsAlso responsible for other Duties / Projects as assigned by business management as needed.Qualifications :
years of supply chain experienceUnderstanding of supply chain systems and structuresStrong analytical skills with the ability to work independently and within teamsAbility to connect work in functional area upstream and or downstream in supply chainPractical knowledge of Sales and Operations PlanningWorking knowledge of Excel, basic formulas, pivots, etc..Experience in SAP ECC / fulfillment systems preferred
