Job Title : Field Service & Repair Technician – Fire Sprinkler
Job Description :
- Complete assigned work orders using industry best practice and knowledge of water-based systems.
- Service calls may be for troubleshooting issues found during an inspection or called in by client.
- Repair calls come from deficiencies noted during inspections and service calls.
Certifications / Skills required :
This position requires journeyman level work ethic and experience that demonstrates resourceful problem solving and troubleshooting skills.NICET II or higher certification in ITM or WBS preferred.A minimum of 2 years of experience inspecting and troubleshooting fire sprinkler systems is required.Hours : Monday – Friday 7 : 30 to 4 : 00 generally. Some overtime or weekend work as required.
Specific Tasks :
Complete assigned work orders in compliance with NFPA and manufacturer instructions.Complete the correction / compliance report for each service call / repair completed.Review completed work order with client & get signature accepting work as complete.Work cooperatively with clients, AHJ, industry and Metro employees.Represent Metro with integrity.Other tasks as assigned by Field Operations Manager.Compensation :
Competitive hourly wage will be negotiated according to skills and experience.Company provides cell phone, vehicle, uniform.Benefits – after 90 days - medical / dental insurance, 401k with employer match, 7 paid holidays.Accruals – Sick Leave & Paid Vacation have a combined accrual of 8 hours per month and can be used after completing 4th month of employment.
