The Job

This position is primarily responsible for the quality control of all consumer loan types, as well as supporting the Loan Servicing team members with other various tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include the daily quality control function for all consumer loans, credit card products, and loan data changes.
Additional responsibilities include mortgage servicing functions under FNMA guidelines. Tasks include, but are not limited to, servicing taxes, insurance (including GAP, MRC, Flood, and Title), escrow analysis, discharges, payoffs, loan payments, autopay, cancellations, etc., and adjustments to loan products (conversions, modifications, etc.), as well as fulfillment of all FNMA Servicing requirements.
Daily, weekly, monthly and annual review of various loan reports.
Contact members, third party servicers, and BCCU staff in order to complete processes to include but not limited to the servicing of consumer and real estate loans.
Ensure customer privacy and confidentiality at all times in all areas of the job.
Maintain knowledge with all state and federal regulations that are applicable to the functions performed. Ensure that appropriate compliance training is completed within the time limit given. In addition, work should be in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines, as detailed in policies that include but are not limited to; Privacy, Fair Lending, HMDA, REG E, ACH, Bank Secrecy Act and other applicable anti-money-laundering policies.
Ensure physical security that includes dual controls, audits, compliance with regulatory policies and procedures, and appropriate use of signing authority and overrides.

Qualifications

Professional, well-developed interpersonal skills necessary for communicating information to BCCU staff and external sources.

Intermediate mathematical skill required (calculations and concepts involving decimals, percentages, fractions, etc.)

Work requires knowledge of general computer skills such as Microsoft Office Suite. These characteristics are normally acquired through completion of a high school education plus some experience in an office setting.

Ability to cross-train on all team functions to ensure coverage in the event of absence.

Ability to act individually and within a team environment to achieve personal and corporate goals.

Ability to resolve issues in a timely manner, seeking assistance as needed.
