Position Summary :  The Accounts Receivable Processor is responsible for account reconciliation and resolving customer inquiries for assigned Trusts, ensuring compliance with associated plans and company guidelines. This role requires minimum necessary access to Protected Health Information (PHI) and Personally Identifiable Information (PII).

Compensation :  $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Location :  Pittsburgh, PA area - Join us in the heart of this vibrant city, where you'll work on-site Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

Key Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Handle customer inquiries via telephone, electronic modes, and in-person for billing questions from stakeholders such as employers, providers, auditors, or client representatives.
  • Process payments (Employer, COBRA, self-pay, Retiree), refund requests, and cash receipts.
  • Process and post hours from members from employers.
  • Receive and process new employer contracts. Maintain and update existing contracts.
  • Prepare and process incoming and outgoing contribution reports; reconcile reports to payments. Research discrepancies, credits, retro-payments, and problems; contact employers regarding discrepancies.
  • Submit deposits and reconcile batch files, making corrections when needed.
  • Perform delinquency and payroll audit processing, including reporting, follow-up, and preparation for entry into the computer system.
  • Review, research, correct, and balance month-end edit reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools and applications.
  • Computer literate with the ability to learn new applications and systems.
  • Six months of related work experience such as third-party administrator processing, bookkeeping, finance, banking, or accounting.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience working in a healthcare environment or as a third-party benefits administrator.
  • Proficiency with 10 key calculations.
  • Contract Role :  This position is a contract role, offering a great opportunity to gain valuable experience and contribute to our team.
