Draper / Tailor

The Old Globe seeks qualified applicants for a full-time Draper / Tailor. This position reports to the Costume Director and is responsible for leading a team of artisans to create a wide variety of theatrical, historical, contemporary, tailored, and specialty costumes. The Draper / Tailor is expected to efficiently produce a large quantity of high quality costumes, achieving the Globe’s high production and safety standards. The Draper / Tailor is expected to work independently and as part of a team; communicating effectively with production, creative, and administrative staff in delivering support for productions and ensuring department success.
