Special Education Preschool Teacher

We are seeking a Preschool Teacher to join our established organization! This individual will plan and present age-appropriate activities for children with special needs.

Requirements :

• At least 12 ECE units
• Experience with kids 0-3 yrs
• Experience leading a classroom
• CPR and First Aid Certified
• Pass a fingerprint and background check.
• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related

Responsibilities :

Effectively instruct preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote creative growth and growth in all developmental domains by the program's philosophy and policies.

Create, plan, and implement a weekly lesson with the Infant Development Specialist on the Developmental Domains.

Create a fun and safe learning environment.

Follow classroom schedule and routine to ensure adequate physical activity and playtime.

Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents

Supervise and train support staff

Lead in the routine of the classroom.

Work with IDS in adapting equipment, curriculum, and behavior plans

Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress throughout

Maintain the health and safety of all students

Previous experience in teaching

Passionate about working with children

Ability to build rapport with children

Positive and patient demeanor

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

More than one position available can be full-time or part-time, with the potential of becoming full-time after 30-60 days. Competitive Salary, benefits.
