Data Science Senior Consultant

What youll achieve

In the role as a Data Science Senior Consultant, you will lead our AI / GEN AI initiatives. You will be responsible for Architecting AI / GEN AI solutions, developing and executing our GEN AI / AI strategy, and driving measurable business impact. Working in a dynamic and collaborative environment, you will foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and results inspired work.

You will

  • Be a thought leader by inspiring and driving innovation, promoting best practices, and mentoring the development of IPs, research publications and white papers
  • Own the full AI / ML lifecycle from prototype to deployment, ensuring the solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with AI-product needs
  • Thrive in a fail-fast environment by quickly testing, learning from, and pivoting on non-viable solutions. Embrace an agile mindset, where calculated risks are taken, and failures are seen as valuable opportunities for rapid iteration and course correction, enabling the team to adjust strategies swiftly and improve on previous efforts without losing momentum

Essential Requirements :

  • PhD or Master's degree in Technology, Computer Science, Machine Learning or equivalent quantitative field
  • 10+ years experience of applied science or complex software systems, especially involving deep learning, machine learning, LLMs that have been successfully delivered
  • Knowledge of ML, NLP, Information Retrieval , Recommender Systems and LLMs
  • Experience with container & orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes etc) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure)
  • Ability to develop a long-term vision and execute strategies at scale while maintaining a grasp of technical details for better decision-making and excellent communication / interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

    • Desirable Requirements :

  • Familiarity leveraging graph-based techniques, semantic search, hybrid search systems and implementing solutions that combine traditional IR methods with machine learning models to enhance search relevancy accuracy and efficiency.
  • Familiarity with large scale data handling when dealing with telemetry systems is a plus.
  • Publication of research papers, patents, or contributions to open-source projects is a plus. Recognition as a thought leader in AI, ML, or NLP fields is highly valued.

    Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $216,750 - $280,500.
