The role of the Valet Parking Attendant

  • Greet guests who arrive by opening their car door and welcoming them to the hotel while assisting guests descending from cars.
  • Issue appropriate valet parking ticket to guests who want car parked.
  • Collect and accurately label guest keys upon guest arrival and departure
  • Safely park guests' vehicles in predetermined areas, following all traffic laws Greet guests and local patrons arriving on foot.
  • Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolves customer complaints, assists customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, the local area, in-house events, etc.

Physical Requirements

  • 100% mobility and standing – will be outside for majority of shift
  • 40% of shift pulling and pushing of luggage carts with weight up to 200 pounds. Lift or carry luggage / boxes up to 100 pounds
  • Must be able to wear a mask and gloves when required
  • Able to work 40 hours per week and accept reasonable requests for overtime. Must have flexibility in availability to work according to business volume
