Position Overview :

Star Bright Dental in Westminster, CA is seeking a passionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in providing exceptional patient care and promoting optimal oral health. Your skills and dedication will contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality dental services while ensuring a comfortable and positive experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform comprehensive dental assessments, including reviewing medical history and conducting oral examinations.
  • Provide routine dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing procedures.
  • Educate patients on effective oral hygiene practices, brushing and flossing techniques, and preventive care strategies.
  • Review and document patient treatment plans, recording necessary information in Dentrix.
  • Ensure adherence to infection control protocols, maintaining a clean and sterile working environment.
  • Review patient records and documentation for accuracy and completeness, submitting for medical coding where applicable.
  • Be a resource for patients and their families, answering questions and providing guidance on dental health and treatments.

Qualifications :

  • Certification or diploma as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) required.
  • Experience with Dentrix or similar dental software is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and medical imaging techniques.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with both patients and team members.
  • Passion for dental care and a commitment to creating a comfortable, caring experience for patients and their families.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain procedures and oral care instructions clearly and effectively.
