Payroll Accountant

A company is looking for a Payroll Accountant.Key ResponsibilitiesCompile and organize payroll data for journal entries and ensure accurate uploads into the accounting systemMaintain data accuracy and reconciliation between multiple financial systemsCollaborate with cross-functional teams for audits related to benefits, compliance, and financial reportingRequired QualificationsAt least 3 years of payroll-related experience, with exposure to international payroll being a plusProficient in payroll accounting principles and general ledger reconciliationIn-depth knowledge of state and federal payroll regulationsKnowledge of GAAP and SOX ComplianceHands-on experience with payroll software, preferably Workday, and intermediate to advanced Excel skills
