Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced corporate attorney to join our growing team at our Sioux Falls office. Ideal candidates will have 5-10 years of experience in corporate law, and those with an established book of business are highly preferred. This position offers a unique opportunity for independent attorneys to contribute to our dynamic practice while benefiting from a collaborative environment and strong local reputation.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide legal counsel and support on various corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, contracts, governance, and compliance.
  • Assist clients with structuring and negotiating agreements.
  • Draft and review contracts, policies, and other corporate documents.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships with an entrepreneurial spirit and a focus on business growth.
  • Ensure attention to detail and thorough analysis in all legal documentation and transactions.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to deliver high-quality services to clients.

Qualifications :

  • 5-10 years of experience practicing corporate law.
  • Licensed in South Dakota (required). Licensure in Iowa, Minnesota, and / or Nebraska is a plus (or willingness to obtain licensure).
  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit and business-minded approach.
  • Excellent attention to detail and an inquisitive mindset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A "good culture fit" is essential—candidates should thrive in a collaborative, positive work environment.
  • Preferred Experience :

  • Established book of business.
  • Experience drafting corporate agreements, contracts, and other legal documents.
  • Willingness to travel to Sioux Falls if based in the Sioux City market.
