About the Opportunity

We are currently looking for a talented Program Manager to help support the Brand Studio team within the Marketing Org at Contentful. Brand Studio is Contentful’s in-house agency of visual designers, content marketers, and PMs. Reporting to the Brand Studio Operations lead, and working closely with Brand Studio leads (Sr. Director, Brand, Content Director and Sr. Art Director), the ideal candidate will have both in-house and agency experience, working with a wide variety of creative outputs across marketing teams. This role offers an opportunity to be fundamental to Brand Studio (creative operations) and to stretch into strategic operational support for the Marketing Org (marketing operations).

What to expect?

  • Resource manage for Brand Studio using Asana, reviewing incoming requests and assigning work based on Marketing Roadmap priority and capacity; run stand ups and use Asana dashboards and reporting to monitor team capacity
  • Work daily with designers, writers, and cross-functional stakeholders to manage projects ranging from business as usual to multi-disciplinary and multi-channel projects / campaigns, by managing timelines, expectations, communications, and meetings as needed, allowing creative leaders to focus on direction and strategy Develop work-back schedules based on business goals and technical requirementsEnsure clarity on creative needs and deliverables, proactively working with stakeholders to gather any supporting assets or details before work beginsAnticipate and manage blockers to process and timelines, flagging affected stakeholders and proactively looking for solutions
  • Support various creative media operationally : visual design, branding, copywriting, content strategy, UX / UI, video, motion graphics, and more
  • Advocate for designers and writers, ensuring they have the time, resources, and direction to focus on creativity
  • Work with colleagues across timezones in the U.S. and Europe as needed
  • Assist in strategic operations for the Marketing Org (e.g., roadmap planning, building or managing org-wide marketing programs)
  • Assist in business operations as needed (contracting, tooling, etc.) and serve as an Asana power user for Brand Studio and the larger marketing org

What you need to be successful?

  • 5+ years in an project / program manager role, specifically working with creative teams (preferably in software or technology)
  • Deep knowledge of and experience using Asana (i.e. a power user with proficiency in project templates, multihoming, reporting and familiarity with AI Studio)
  • A working knowledge of creative disciplines and marketing campaign creation
  • Experience juggling multiple projects / campaigns and working with team members to hit competing deadlines
  • You are comfortable with ambiguity, flexible, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • You maintain a calm under pressure attitude
  • You exude a can-do attitude
  • You’re a thought partner with cross-functional teams, able to build rapport with colleagues at all levels
  • You solve problems holistically, raise the bar for creative, and find solutions for how to scale in the future
  • Stellar communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to adapt well to change and receive constructive feedback
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Suite
