A private family is seeking a full-time, experienced, and nurturing nanny to care for their infant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childcare, with a minimum of 3 years of experience working with infants / toddlers. The role requires a flexible schedule, and frequent travel between Scarsdale, NY, and Bridgehampton, NY year-round.
Key Responsibilities
Provide attentive, loving, and engaging care for the infant, ensuring their safety, well-being, and developmental growth.Establish and maintain consistent routines for feeding, sleeping, and developmental activities.Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities to foster physical, emotional, and cognitive development.Accompany the family on domestic and international travel, ensuring seamless care in various environments.Assist with light housekeeping related to the children, including tidying up the nursery, sterilizing bottles, and maintaining a clean play area.Prepare and serve meals and snacks as needed for the children.Drive in the Hamptons as necessary for errands or activities.Qualifications
Experience : Minimum of 3 years of professional childcare experience working with infants and toddlers.Education : Bachelors Degree in Child Development or Secondary EducationReferences : Excellent references from previous families or employers.Flexibility : Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and travel extensively.Other Requirements : Strong organizational skills, high level of discretion, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Must be a great swimmerValid driver’s licenseValid US Work AuthorizationSOCIETY STAFFING
