Certified Public Accountant

Trillium has an immediate opening for a Certified Public Accountant with a financial planning firm in Reno, NV!

This Direct-Hire opportunity seeks a CPA or Enrolled Agent with 5+ years of experience in filing individual and business tax returns. This is an amazing opportunity to grow into the Lead CPA when the current CPA retires in 2 years!

Responsibilities :

• Preparing and filing individual, corporate, fiduciary, and estate tax returns, with a majority of the clients subject to California accounting rules
• Calculating quarterly estimated tax payments
• Reconciling documents from prior year with current year tax return
• Work with the Lead CPA and Financial Advisor team
• Respond to tax notices from the IRS, FTB, and any applicable agency
• Ensure compliance with government tax rules

The salary range is $120-150,000 depending on experience (with the potential for a higher salary if bringing a book of current clients). This will be an in-office role working out of their Reno office location.
