A company is looking for a Remote Orthopedic Surgery Coder.Key ResponsibilitiesReview documentation and diagnostic results to extract data for codingAccurately apply CPT, Modifiers, and ICD-10 codes in accordance with guidelinesEnsure compliance with coding, billing, and reporting standards under the direction of the coding managerRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma / GED or 5+ years of Orthopedic Coding experience in lieu of diploma / GED3 years of coding experience for Ortho surgical procedures and podiatry in both inpatient and outpatient settingsCPC (Certified Professional Coder) certification from AAPCExperience with electronic medical records (EMR)Must maintain coding credentials throughout employment
