Job Title : Food Production Worker
Job Description
The food production worker will be responsible for operating various areas of the production floor. Duties include packing spices, operating production lines, troubleshooting when machines stop or slow down, and asking questions if uncertain about any process. The role requires heavy lifting of boxes, and product weighing 30-50 lbs, standing for the entire shift, and packaging 1,000-2,000 units daily. Proper PPE, including a hair net, smock, gloves, and mask, must be worn at all times.
Responsibilities
- Work in multiple areas of the production floor.
- Pack spices and operate production lines.
- Troubleshoot product issues when machines stop or slow down.
- Ask questions if unsure about any process.
- Lift heavy boxes weighing 30-50 lbs.
- Stand for the entire shift.
- Package 1,000-2,000 bottles of spices daily.
- Follow work orders to determine required bottles and labels.
- Enter recipes into the machine's touch screen.
- Load and unload bottles onto and from the machine.
- Weigh completed bottles to ensure machine accuracy every 15 bottles or so.
- Hand label bottles, pack them in boxes, and place them on pallets.

The role involves teamwork, with two members working on each line, and requires flexibility and adaptability to changes. While the team includes Spanish-speaking members. Will require Heavy Lifting of product.
Job Type & Location
This is a part time 5am-1 : 30pm position based out of Hayward, California. set Days : Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00 / hr.
