LaSalle Network is partnering with a prominent healthcare organization committed to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing healthcare innovation located in Greensboro, North Carolina. We are seeking a dedicated Learning and Development Consultant to join our client’s team and contribute to the growth and development of their workforce.

As a Learning and Development Consultant , you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing and evaluating training and development programs for our client’s healthcare professionals. You will collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to identify learning needs, develop curriculum and deliver impactful learning solutions that enhance employee skills, knowledge and performance.

Learning and Development Consultant Responsibilities :

  • Partner with HR business partners and department leaders to conduct needs assessments and identify learning and development priorities
  • Design and develop engaging training programs, including e-learning modules, workshops and instructor-led sessions, tailored to meet the unique needs of healthcare professionals
  • Implement learning strategies that support organizational goals and foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback mechanisms and performance metrics; make recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training content is accurate, relevant and compliant with industry standards and regulations
  • Stay current on trends and best practices in learning and development, particularly within the healthcare industry and integrate them into program design and delivery
  • Manage relationships with external training vendors and consultants as needed to supplement internal learning initiatives

Learning and Development Consultant Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, Healthcare Administration or related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience as a Learning and Development Consultant or similar role, with specific experience in the healthcare industry strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theories
  • Experience developing and delivering training programs using a variety of methods and technologies
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization
