We are looking for a proactive, highly motivated, outcome-oriented professional to join our Revenue Accounting team. This role will support the accounting close process and assist on strategic initiatives to streamline the close process. You will partner cross-functionally across Sales, FP&A, Legal, and other teams to shape revenue close and enhance our revenue reporting processes to ensure they are efficient and tailored to meet the current and future needs of the business.
Location : Scottsdale, Boston, Seattle, Denver, Atlanta, Sterling (any of these locations)
What You'll Do
- Have end-to-end ownership over key revenue streams, controls, and financial statement disclosures, ensuring timely recording of revenue transactions in compliance with US GAAP.
- Participate in the monthly and quarterly close process for revenue-related activities and ensure proper documentation of accounting treatments
- Perform reviews over automated revenue allocations to ensure proper quoting of products / services, completeness, and accuracy
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures of revenue recognition including stand-alone selling prices
- Collaborate with key business stakeholders including Sales to provide guidance on complex revenue transactions and contract negotiation
- Serve as a primary contact for internal business stakeholders and external auditors on revenue related matters
- Collaborate with FP&A and business teams to analyze revenue-related transactions and actual vs forecast
- Maintain and enhance internal controls over the order-to-cash cycle, including robust process to ensure upstream data impacting revenue accounting is accurate and complete
- Partner with the information technology department to build robust reporting
- Support ad hoc Controllership projects arising from our rapid growth, including manual revenue allocations, modifications, and prospective modification analysis as assigned.
What You Bring
6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years of operational accounting within a fast-paced, high-growth environment, preferably in publicly traded companies.Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or a related field.CPA certification and understanding of ASC revenue recognition standards.A mix of Big 4 and industry experience managing the order-to-cash function at complex and multi-national publicly-traded companiesExperience with ERP systems and reporting toolsStrong analytical skills with experience in implementing various analytical techniques for Close cycle.Advanced expertise of ASCExperience with M&A integrationExperience with leading ERP implementation, migration and upgrade.The Ideal Candidate May Also Have

The starting base pay for this role is between USD 90, in the lowest geographic market and USD , in the highest geographic market.
