Job description

Moxtek is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor in Orem. This onsite position will lead a dedicated warehouse team and oversee daily warehouse operations : shipping, receiving, inventory management, and team leadership. You ensure the efficient, accurate, and timely movement of goods while maintaining compliance with safety regulations and company policies. You are responsible for optimizing warehouse space, ensuring proper documentation, and collaborating with internal teams to improve logistics and inventory processes.

As a leader, you will :

  • Hire and train new warehouse employees.
  • Schedule, supervise, and provide ongoing coaching to warehouse staff to enhance performance and productivity.
  • Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations, providing feedback and development opportunities and guidance.

Key Contributions :

  • Oversee shipping and receiving operations, ensuring inventory accuracy and timely processing.
  • Maintain precise inventory records, conduct regular cycle counts, and prevent shortages or overstock situations.
  • Optimize warehouse space utilization and ensure an organized, safe, and efficient work environment.
  • Ensure outgoing shipments meet all packaging, labeling, and documentation requirements for customers and carriers.
  • Manage U.S. Customs and Border Protection ACE portal accounts, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Resolve shipping and customs-related issues promptly to prevent delays.
  • Coordinate material transfers within the warehouse and between departments.
  • Work closely with other departments to develop and refine warehouse procedures for greater efficiency.
  • Support Accounting and external auditors during inventory audits.
  • Promote and enforce workplace safety protocols, conducting regular safety review sessions.
  • Become proficient in all warehouse duties to effectively provide coverage during vacations and absences as needed.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the warehouse and other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination.

  • Education & Experience :

  • Associate degree in business, supply chain, logistics, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in warehouse supervision, logistics, or manufacturing (previous leadership experience preferred).
